Xianjiyan Nature Trail

This is a short trail in the south of Taipei. Xianjiyan, or immortal (tracks) rock, at a smidgen over 140m high, is easily accessible from Jingmei Station and has some nice city views. Having said that, it is probably only of real interest if you are in the Jingmei / Xindian area.
The path up from Jingxing Road is mostly stairs and is very steep before flattening out somewhat.
Views of Jingmei from near the start of the trail.
There are some nice city views on this trail (north).
Views looking south from Xianjiyan.
The path is well formed most of the way, this section has been renovated fairly recently.

Trail Name: Xianjiyan Nature Trail / 仙跡岩自然步道 / Xiān jī yán zìrán bùdào

Location: opposite 222 Jingxing Road, Jingmei, Taipei (台北市文山區景興路222號)

Getting here: Metro to Jingmei Station (捷運景美站), then about a 10 minute walk to start of trail on Jingxing Road. You can either double back and do the trail in reverse or end the walk along Mushan Road. Buses on this road go to both Jingmei (景美) and Taipei 101 / Xinyi District (信義區) in downtown Taipei.
